Jump! Hehe If that doesn't work try Looking on Walktroughs on YouTube Hope this helps :)!
You distract him.
Well you don't really until the end, when you have to avoid the traps.
You ask Susan.B.Anthony about the mysterious man in your clues and she will say "I think i saw a guard sleeping in Pinkerton security train car". so go there and you'll find that the guard is sleeping so don't trigger the trap and you'll find president Theodore Roosevelt is there.
you get a life
what to do after you pass the guards of Chicago and you get next to the snoring man on poptropica mystery train
You don't need to spike Pinkerton's drink. He's asleep in the 9th car.
To get past the guard to see Tesla (in the coal car), go into the luggage compartment and climb on top of all the luggage to reach the hatch that leads to the top of the train. Avoid the tunnels and the mail bags and go right until you can enter the coal car. When you have freed Tesla, you can go to the rear of the train and slip past the guard there (go up, left, across the first opening, and down past the sleeping agent and his dog).
You can only get past the Pinkerton guard in the rear car of the train after they have arrested Nicola Tesla and you have proven him innocent. Mark Twain will suggest that you find out who is in the "last car" (the car behind the Pinkerton car). Go there and you will find him asleep, next to his dog. To get past his Rube Goldberg alarm system, climb up one level, jump across the first gap, and jump down through the second gap, next to the sleeping guard.
you have to go above the guards and jump on the lions and awnings until you get to the snake charmer where you ride the snake and jump of to the left when the snake gets to the top
You don't. When you have assembled the clues to the theft of the device from Tesla, and free him, Mark Twain will suggest that you go to see who is in the mysterious 11th car of the train. The guard is asleep and you can get past him by navigating the weird device he has set up to catch intruders. (Jump over the first gap, them down past the guard.)
Go and question people again throughout the train, then someone will give you a clue. And after you talk to more people and get more clues, go to the back of the train and do not wake up the guard and go to the very last car to talk to the president!
You have to talk to all of the people on the mystery train, from the coalman in the front (right) to the guard in the back (far left). There are the 4 crew (conductor, coalman, porter, guard) and 8 passengers besides Edison (New York Times Reporter, Mlle. Moreau from Le Monde, Gustave Eiffel, George Ferris, Nikola Tesla, Eric Weisz, Mark Twain, and Susan B. Anthony).
