How do you get past the tree on route 36 to goldenrod city Pokemon crystal?

After you beated the Goldenrod City Gym Badge, you go to the Flower House next door the Gym. Then a girl will give you a Squirtbottle.Then you go to the tree and you use the Squirtbottle.Then it was a Pokemon then you battle it.It is a Level 20 Sudowoodo.Then you can catch/battle it.Then you can be on your way to get the 4th Gym Badge!
P.S. If you do not have the Plain Badge from Whitney (the gym leader), then you can't have the Squirtbottle.

∙ 13y agoGo to goldenrod city, then go north til you get to the goldenrod gym , go east to the house right next to it and talk to the girl inside and if you've beaten Whitney the gym leader she will give you the spray bottle, then once you have it go back to the sudowoodo tree sprinkle it and prepare for battle !
