well, it depends on what you mean by 'get past'
if you mean get through the cave, then you can't. the cave dosent have a ending. it just does on and on...
if you mean getting to giratina...
im not sure exactly how to get to em, but i do know that if you keep moving into different rooms, you can eventually find it.

btw, to get out of turn back cave, just go through the southern door. it will take you back to the first room no matter how many rooms you have past.
