I just had this issue and put the greased cookie sheet on the stove top over med. heat...just long enough to loosen it up with a spatula. Be careful! Still was a little messy but at least I was able to salvage most of the brittle.

∙ 13y agofirst of all put it in hot boiling water to make it unstuck then put a spatula under neath if you cant get it off go to next step with spatulas under put soap and butter Tadd Dada its out if you need more info look up cooking help.com

∙ 13y agoAlthough it does not work in every case, the pan of cookies can be returned to the oven for about two minutes. Remove from oven and scrape cookies from pan with a metal spatula. The idea is that when heated, the sugar will melt enough to allow the cookies to be loosened from the pan.

Had this problem today in glass pan I put pan over low gas burner it took about 4 minutes moving pan around over low heat and brittle peeled up in one sheet .put in fridge to harden up wife still mad at mess

I "saved" a batch of microwave peanut brittle that never got hard. I scraped it into a pan and melted it back down and boiled until the hard candy stage (by candy thermometer or dropping some in water - it should turn brittle and hard). When it was at the hard candy stage, I took it off the burner, stirred in some baking soda and spread it in the greased baking sheet to cool. It brittled up just right!
