your question was not very specific, if both fallopian tubes are removed, you might want to try invitro fertilization. your egg and your spouse's sperm can be incubated, then implanted into you, and you will be able to carry the baby as long as you have your uterus. Hopes this helps.

I had an ectopic pregnancy back in December of 2008 and now i found out i am pregnant again...i am absolutely terrified because im having pains in my left side again, (i never had the tube removed they just gave me methotrexate). Its been almost a year and when i would menstrate that side would hurt all over again too. Could this be a normal pregnancy?

You can absolutely get pregnant after an ectopic pregnancy (i did). Though, if one of your tubes was removed it may take a little longer. Some doctors also like to check if the remaining tube is clear.

...not sure...I just had my 2nd ectopic (nothing was found in either pregnancy by the way---not in the tubes, etc), in April 2009...HCG levels did not go down to below 5 until May 2009...and I got pregnant again in July 2009.

I think it kind of depends on if you had a tube removed, if a previous ectopic ruptured, if you have PID, etc. My doctors believe I had the tubal pregnancies due to scar tissue from previous abdominal surgery.

Good luck...believe it or not...I went on vacation in July and said "forget about the baby-making" for once (TTC for 5 years!!! --2 miscarriages & 2 Tubals)---and truly put it out of my mind...and waalahhh, it happened. Never believed that sappy stuff until it happened.

So...the point is...focus on your spouse and not making a baby...have sex everyday for (4) days prior to ovulation, and (4) days post-ovulation...take Prenatal Vitamins (any brand) and it WILL HAPPEN again!

You get pregnant using the same method as you did the first time! Just becasue on fallopian tube has been removed doesn't mean the other won't function perfectly well.

You think you have Pelvic Inflammatory Disease or Bacterial Vaginosis you also just found out you were pregnant what are your chances that you are having an ectopic pregnancy?

I'm not a doctor, but having Pelvic Inflammatory Disease or Bacterial Vaginosis doesn't necessarily increase your chances of having an ectopic pregnancy. However, if you suspect an ectopic pregnancy, it's important to seek medical attention immediately. A healthcare professional can provide a definitive diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

What is the chances of you getting pregnant after your tubes were clamped 7 year's ago?

Women have less than a 2% chance of becoming pregnant naturally after having a tubal ligation. If you feel that you may be pregnant after a tubal ligation you should see a Dr as soon as possible to rule out an ectopic pregnancy. Women who have had a tubal ligation are at a high risk for ectopic pregnancy which can be life threatening.

You want to get pregnant with out removing your IUD is this possible?

I am sure it is slightly possible but getting pregnant while having a IUD is a terrible idea. Most of the time a pregnancy while using IUD is an ectopic pregnancy which is when the fertilized egg is not in the uterus, this can cause death and the baby will not survive. If you by miracle got pregnant and it was not ectopic the baby can still be severely harmed so you must see a doctor ASAP.

Can a woman get pregnant after ectopic pregnancy and removal of one tube while incision in the other tube?

Certainly! An ectopic pregnancy is not a condition that affects your reproductive organs such as endometriosis. You have a 1 in 2 chance of conception if you had no problems prior to your ectopic pregnancy. About 60% conceive successfully after an ectopic pregnancy and about 30% choose not to try conceiving again. If you do conceive successfully after having an ectopic pregnancy, it is important to notify your doctor at the first visit of this so that he/she can pay special attention to any warning signs and help you and your baby have a successful future pregnancy.
