What are some problems on WikiAnswers?
Because WikiAnswers is a wiki, it is inevitable that not everyone will play nicely. There are vandals and spammers who troll the site in order to ruin everyone else's fun. But, for every problem there is a solution (or many) and there is a dedicated Vandal Patrol that works to rid the site of these messes. Also, the Supervisor community works hard to educate contributors about best practice on WikiAnswers.
Why doesn't the site Answers get rid of pop up ads?
Ads help to generate revenue for the site. There is the option of registering for the site, and turning off ads in your site settings.
How does WikiAnswers help you?
It gives you info you might need or want to know, and these questions are asked by people all around the world, so you can make friends with them and help rid the site of vandalisim. Unfortunetly, there ARE quite a few cyberbullies on WikiAnswers, but that's just the world. Supervisors help rid the site of these "imature Internet users", and you can help! Just erase or report the vandalisim act to any Supervisor you know! (If you do not know one then just erase the answer!) Dont give up!
How do you block questions on WikiAnswers?
You cannot block questions on WikiAnswers. Only Supervisors have the ability to get rid of a question, but there is no such action as 'blocking a question'.

Are you allowed to use WikiAnswers for spamming purposes?
No, spamming is unacceptable here on WikiAnswers. In fact, there is are group of people here called Supervisors, and their jobs is to get rid of spam on the site and block any person who violates the rules. Plus, some Supervisors become on the Vandal Patrol which is a gang of Supervisors, that look on various questions and message boards looking for spam and inappropriate language. If you like spamming sites, let me tell you, that WikiAnswers is not a good place to do it. If everyone were to create an effort, this site would be the most helpful question and reference topic site on the web.
Do any of you actually think you'll get a real answear from this site?
yes if nonsense answers are posted or vandals post trash answers supervisor block them and clean up the answer as do the other members of the site almost all of the WikiAnswers community is answering these questions truthfully and getting rid of the bad answers.

You cannot delete your question on WikiAnswers. As long as it isn't against the rules on WikiAnswers, your question will stay. Even if you did make an error, as long as it is legitimate, it will stay. However, you can consult a supervisor about getting rid of a question if you do not want it to be on WikiAnswers.
What are your opinions on why you want to be a Supervisor on WikiAnswers?
The big reason is because people love WikiAnswers and want to give back and help make the site safe. Helping to clean up the site and rid it of vandals. I didn't ask - I was 'press-ganged' (joke !) - I was offered the chance to be a Supervisor - after my contributions in the snakes/reptiles sections got me noticed. Although I spend a lot of time answering questions in the reptiles section, I also randomly 'wander' through other sections, improving answers where I can. I was glad to be given the chance to help clean the site up. (Snakester1962 (Supervisor))
What is an 'Alternates Specialist' on WikiAnswers?
An alternate specialist is a person who fixing the alternates getting rid of any alternates that are incorrect and obscene or inflamatory by doing this they get rid of vandalism and help out the sites functionality
