Ive had my nose pierced for about a year , and at one stage it did get a little bit infected , but i took out the nose stud to clean it with warm salt water ! it stings a little bit but i kept cleaning it 2/4 times a day . After a day or two the redness will go down and it wont be as sore ! But whatever you do do not keep out the stud because if the infected piercing closes , it will stay infected .The infection has to heal , before the hole will close properly ! :)

Well simply put it's called soap and water. Using liquid unscented antibacterial soap (use a pea sized amount in your hand) add water to it and lather it up apply it to the piercing and work it into the piercing by moving the jewellery back and forth or rotating the ring if the piercing has a ring in it. Then under warm running water (the shower is the best place to do this) again rotate the jewellery while rinsing the piercing with the water. Do this daily (twice a day for the first two days) for about a week. Within the first 24 ~ 48 hours you will see the infection start to clear. After a week you can just rinse the piercing daily (you don't need to use soap every day once every five days should be plenty) under warm running water while moving the jewellery and the piercing should remain healthy and happy.

You need to get a paper towel and put one ice cube into it. roll it up into a square shape and then leave it on your nose. make sure you leave it on for 10 minutes. That's what i did and it stopped my infection

also; soaking a chamomile tea bag in hot water and then placing it on your infected area for 10-15 minutes should clear it up. Mine has been infected twice and every time I've done this for about three days and it cleared up straight away.

Well following the detailed aftercare instructions you were provided with by your professional body piercer will generally fix piercing issues. If you are having issues and it doesn't seem to be resolving then a trip to your Doctor could be in order.

Go see a doctor to get antibiotics. That'll help it clear up before it spreads or causes more serious problems.
