How do you get rid of acne on the arms?

I had acne on my upper arms ( about the area where sleeves from a regular t-shirt would cover) that is pretty much gone now. All i did was everyday I get out of the shower I take OXY Face wash that comes in a black bottle and dilute it a little with water on my hands and spread it all on my arms (and back). Within a week it was pretty much gone and as long as I do it everyday it stays clear enough to be confident enough to not wear sleeves. Hope this helps!
