I don't think a study's been conducted for that. I rubbed toothpaste in my nose to get rid of a cold. Went away the next day at it's peek. However I did find something on yahoo answers where they say not to do that because it creates bumps. I don't remember having a problem with it but I don't pay that much attention to my nose either so the answer to you're question is probably no, just to be on the safe side. For all we know it could cause nose cancer.
