Sounds like you have soluable metals present, which you will have to flocculate. Check for iron and or manganese. It takes a PH of 8.5 to take care of iron and a Ph of 9.5 to take care of manganese.
Our pool is doing the same thing. After trying everything known to man and pool person, I have come to the conclusion that the problem is the vaccuum is not catching the tiny minute particles and it is re-releasing them into the pool. My pool is clear in the morning (you can see the bottom), but by the time I'm finished vaccuuming and stirring up the teeniest pieces of whatever, the pool is cloudy again. I've tried everything. I've tested the water and according to the pool people and my own online testing, the chemicals are balanced and the water should be fine. We give up and swim in it anyway.
You may have a small hole in one or more of the filter grids in the DE filter. The "pool man " should have picked up on this! The tank needs to be opened, grids cleaned of debris and de and all 8 grids should be inspected. Replace bad units reassemble and test. The hole could be no larger than a small fingernail or as large as the height of the whole grid. Sand filter: try about two cups of DE into the skimmer.
Run filter 24/7 until clear.

A simple water clarifier available at pool stores and retailers such as Lowes or Walmart will clear up the water. Use as directed. It only takes a few ounces.
Balance chemicals and add a clarifier available at you local pool supply
You need to get your water tested to see what is causing it. Take a sample to a local pool dealer, they can test it and they should also be able to tell you what you need to put in it to clear it up.
first you should check why its cloudy but if you don't know you could shock it.
Keep the filter clean and always run run the pump. Lower PH and Alkalinity. Make sure the clorine levels are in range.
You have probably got a problem wit algae, Just get an algaecide from your pool shop and follow the instructions. If the problem is very bad you may have to use a clarifier.
Clean it. You can use clorine, you can get it from any large store like target of fredmeyers. It will tell you the directions on the label. Hope i helped. MaDiSoN!!!
The water in a pool can be cloudy because the chemicals are not balanced. If people wear sunscreen and go in the pool before it has soaked in it can also cause the water to become cloudy.

algee
pump it out
an indication the chlorine is not working effectively.
Not likely, make sure all chemicals are balanced. If still cloudy, use a clarifier sold at pool stores.
Shock treatment for the green part. If it is still cloudy you can add a clarifier sold at your local pool supply.
Do a big water change, since cloudy water is a sign of overfeeding or poor filtration. Also, test your water for ammonia.
yes.. it has a low pH ... acid rain... so you need to add pH plus.
You need to buy a rotating water jet to put in your pool. That will help eliminate algae and cloudy water.
No. Assuming the water has been treated/is balanced.
When there are clouds. :) If you are talking about cloudy pool water, it could be a number of things. Take a water sample to a retail pool store for testing. If the cloudiness remains after you balance the water, try adding a flocculent. If it still remains, try shocking the pool, then adding a flocculent again.
