Yes. Clorox does a great job of cleaning stains and is one of the best cleaners in its class.
Try Resolve carpet cleaner, that worked to get most all of the stains out of my carpet when i moved.
Try a little bit of Golden Syrup (see 'How do you remove grass stains?)
I don't believe it is worth it to spend the money for a professional carpet cleaner. You can do the job yourself for a lot cheaper.
