If you have Pokemon Diamond or Pearl you must catch/defeat Dialga or Palkia and on Pokemon Platinum you must catch Giratina, then exit go to the lab and speak to professer rowan.

Real Answerfind your way to spear pillar it's at the top of mount coronet go the eterna city way (look on the town map).
no don't go eterna city way. you have to go through from oreburg city. The Eterna city way will take you to either Snowpoint City or Celestic Town. You need Rock Climb Rock Smash and Strength.

- Defeat Candice of Snowpoint City.
- Go to Acuity Lake, and battle the Galactic grunts over there.
- Go to Veilstone City with the Galactic Grunt and his dropped key.
- Retrieve the key, go into the warehouse, and then go through the path.
- Free the trio.
- Go to Mt. Coronet, and then go to Spear Pillar.
- After awakening Dialga/Palkia or going into the Distortion World in Platinum, Sunyshore City will be accessible.
