I have suffered from acne for over a year and i have realized that you are not supposed to pop your pimples because it can irritate them more and just make it worse but if your looking for something to get rid of your acne i recommend using Panoxyl it is a therapeutic acne wash that you can use on you face chest and back, I have been using it and it works great for getting rid of acne and redness and stuff like that.
Put toothpaste on it so it will dry it out turning it into a scab.
You really don't want to pop it. You should cover it with something. Lots of doctors say its a bad idea to pop it. I like the toothpaste idea tho.

∙ 11y agoOk DO NOT do this with your fingernails. Take it from somebody who used to it cause infection, and if you press to hard around it it can break the skin where you don't want it to and that can irritate it. So, to start off with most people say that you shouldn't because of infection. Well that is true but if you follow these steps you can rid of it easily and there will be no infection so it will be safe. Ok to start off with get these things: Rubbing alcohol, a few q-tips, a wash cloth, water ( Make sure it is as hot as you can stand but DO NOT burn yourself ), Neosporin, ( ONLY IF IT IS LARGE AND VERY WHITE SHOULD YOU GET THIS ) a needle, and soft tipped tweezers. First you wash your hands very well. Then take the washcloth a put the ( hot ) water on it a place it on the zit for about 3-5 min. Next take it off and get a q-tips and put some rubbing alcohol on it and sanitized the zit and the area around it. Now this is when you see how big it is and if it is very white. If it is then you sanitize the needle with the alcohol a poke 3 holes ( this should not hurt if don correctly ) in the white part. One on each side and one on the top. Take the tweezers and sanitize them and LIGHTLY pinch the zit. Now this may seem gross but when the puss comes take a q-tip put rubbing alcohol on it and take the puss off of the tweezers and the zit. If there is still more repeat till it is all out ( there may be blood if there is each time you clean it off use a new end or new q-tip to get it off to prevent it from spreading or infection ). Afterwards you mush clean the opened skin with rubbing alcohol ( this may sting a little but that's good because that means that it is killing the germs ) and place Neosporin on it. Now this may happen to some people and this happens to me and this when i do use my fingernails. For some you may see a super small white dot still in the skin from where the zit was if you stretch out the skin a little. That part is called the core. it is the most hardest thing of the zit to get out and can be a little painful. Now there are two options: 1: take Neosporin and place it on there to help a new on forming, take away pain, and to prevent scaring.2: squeeze it out. I by personal experience prefer the Neosporin. It is more effective and is alot easier. I hope this helps alot!!!

∙ 13y agoi know it may not be pleasant but in my case creams and face washes don't help me with my acne. i have found that vinegar applied at night right before bed with a cloth helps reduce acne. Make sure to stand in front of a fan or use a blow dryer to dry the vinegar on your face faster before it starts to burn.. The redness that occurs after a few minutes is normal and means the vinegar is working
Another way is to get cleansing pads and use them on wherever is need that's what i do but they don't always work and ALWAYStake a shower in the morning and at night.If you don't take a shower oil builds up on your skin and your pores get clogged up with oil and dirt causing pimples and don't put your hands on your face it does the same thing but it takes longer.

It would be better to buy low-cost acne treatment products- and there are a lot of them specially formulated to treat whiteheads/blackheads so you have nothing to worry about! Whatever you do, don't pop those little zits or whiteheads because there is a very rare chance (but still possible) that you may pop a major vein along with your zit/whitehead and when that happens, there is a (depending on how important the vein was) 89% chance according to recent statistics that you will die. This is a rare, but possible case scenario. Makes you think twice......
