I am not that pleased with the hardy wood burner. Before we purchased an outside wood-burner we had an indoor. There is less dust and smoke in my house and it is like having a furnace on. The bad part is we have had a hardy for about 5 years and this summer we got a hole in the water tank and have to have someone weld it..... I live in a residential neighborhood and my neighbor complains that there is a lot of smoke and they have held a piton to make us get rid of it. (it didn't go through).. But honestly it does create a new-since. It does save us money, yearly more that I know. We have a Victorian home that resembles a doll house. The stove itself takes a lot of wood to fill it, you only fire it 2 a day and there is a lot of ashes that drop to the bottom and are sort of a pain to get out so overall i would say, if you were out living in the sticks this would be great for you, but for me it sort of sucks..... Plus if i have to get rid of it in a year or two look at all the money I am out.burning up the neighborhood in Ohio
Sometimes, the wood smell is made because of the kind of wood in your house. Try searching the nearest home depot for some kind of those cleaner things that you use to wipe the walls.
They don't eat wood, they eat insects, you may want to check your siding for wood boring insects
you can make one, with ping pong balls and aluminium foil
To get rid of flying roaches, you could add insecticide to crevices such as near windows and doors. You may also use fog bombs that cover the whole house in an insect-killing smoke.
You will have to burn something so that the bees nest is full of smoke.
Sulpher smoke will get rid of them.
pee on it
