The Bible in Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." We're not "right" with God because we sin, and therefore deserve death, or separation from God. But according to this verse, we don't get right with God, God gets right with us through the death and resurrection of Jesus - all we have to do is accept that and let him change us.
God is totally a dude, right on, right on
God does. If there was no God, there could be no right or wrong.
The god given right is also known as the divine right of kings. It means that a monarch holds the right to rule because of God's will.
The king was considered to be appointed by God, or chosen by God. As such, he had a "divine right" to rule. If the king was appointed by God, then his will was also God's will. - The Divine Right of Kings is a theory of government the King's power is absolute.
Divine Right or Theocracy both have the idea that the right to rule is given by god.
Because you believe he is the right God for you. It's what you believe that matters, not what someone else presume you believe or not believe in.
Manus dexterus de Deus.
Evan(no)god is always right
Either Christians are right and God is here, or atheists are right and God is not here. Either way, we share the same world, which goes on with or without God.
Divine Right
Dynasty is the word meaning the right to rule was god-given.
To God, an action is 'right' if it is in line with His moral will. Therefore, if an action is sin, it cannot be 'right', or 'good'. Sin is defined as disobedience to God, and the way God tells us the difference between what is sin and what is right is in His Word, the Bible. Hebrews 11:6 says that "without faith, it is impossible to please [God]", and so to make a 'right' or 'good' action pleasing to God, one must have saving faith in Jesus Christ. If one knows Christ, then they will know what is right, for Christ and God the Father are one and the same, and since God is the very definition of what is right, to know Him means to know what is right. In John 10:27, Jesus says "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." As a true Christian and ambassador of Christ, all deeds are done with the purpose to glorify God. An action that is done for the glory of God is a right action, and all else is sin. As human beings, we suck at this because we are imperfect and God is perfect, and so without Christ to absolve us of our sin, we cannot please God or do any right action.
