Rub the sap with a course cloth dipped in paint thinner. The paint thinner will disolve the sap and the course cloth will provide an abrasive force to remove the residue.
Be especially careful when removing sap from cutting edges, like an ax or saw blade. Sometimes you need to rub rather hard to remove the sap. If your fingers slip near the edge of the blade, you could get a rather nasty cut.

when trying to get tree sap off a car there are millions of answers but only a few will really get that tree sap off you take gas, deisel, or karosiene, and spray on sap or you can buy paint remover pour some on a cloth and rub the sap off it wont hurt your paint or you take a putty knife and srape it off or get the sap hot and it rubs off with a paper towel or put toothpaste on the sap let it sit for a week or so rub off.

There is an eraser for suede. It will rough up the nape and the water marks will disappear.

We used Citrus Goo-Gone Pro Power to quickly remove sap from our micro suede sofa cushion. It was available at our local Walmart store. Seemed to work well, and left no stain or damage.
There is no pencil plant. Any sap wipe off.
Wet a rag or small towel with warm soapy water and put it on the sap and let it soak. Once the sap softens, just wipe it off.
You could try a suede brush on them.
