To get shaymin you first have to get oak's letter which is only possible by Events. then you go to that mysterious rock that looked like a table near the victory road. professor oak will be standing next to it talk to him and then shaymin will appear. then it will go in to a patch of flowers that weren't there before. then you follow it. it's a long way so be prepared. then you will finally find shaymin and battle him and you need to stock up on ultra balls.
