It is possible. A shiny ditto may be hard o find but you can defunetly get a ditto. you could also:
Step1- Either get a shiny pokemon-find a shiny pokemon-trade for a shiny pokemon
Step2-Go to where ditto would be found(make sure your shiny is up front)
Step3-once you encounter a ditto it will use transform and turn into a SHINY________.
It might not stay a shiny but now you either have a SHINY ditto or a regular ditto.

∙ 15y agoI'm sorry to say, there is only a 1 in 8,125 chance of finding any shiny pokemon. The chances of finding specifically a shiny Ditto are even slimmer. You'll just have to walk around a bunch of grass 'til you're lucky enough to find one. You could also look for one on the GTS, or you could use an Action Replay to hack one, but I don't reccommend that.

∙ 12y agoYou can get ditto in abundant shrine and giant chasm.To get to giant chasm go to route 13 and go down the steps past the man who gives you wingull's gram and surf north.Follow the path until the cave.For abundant shrine go to route 14[you need waterfall] go up the waterfall near the fisherman. Stay to the left and you should come to abundant shrine.By the way, it's pure luck if you find a shiny pokemon.
