First find out if they still want to be friends with you. If they do then that means they still want to be close to you. Second it will maybe take awhile to win them back, but hang out with them and act like a good friend, this will make them think about wanting to go back out with you. But also give him some space because guys don't always want to be around there ex. Good luck :)
