If there is no sound means the speaker must have gone wrong. It may also be a software problem. If the laptop has warranty get it to the nearest Customer Care Centre and they will get it changed it for free.

Normally, these days every laptop comes with built in recover drive, ex: it could be D or E drive, you can run the set and install the OS, along with the OS all the drivers are installed! With every laptop or desktop you will receive a CD for drivers, another options is you can find the drivers list on the dell official web site. You can enter in the model , product and serial keys. search of drivers or you can contact there customer support..
