You can't. Windows Live Movie Maker is a stripped-down version of 2.6. Microsoft though it would be easier for users so they came up with Windows Live Movie Maker. Unfortunately, you are missing many features that the older version had.
Try 'Sound America' for a wolf sound. (Google Sound America for the link). Audio in .wma or .mp3 format can be imported/edited in Windows Movie Maker.
Rehanfx has many plug-in effects for Windows Movie Maker. You should check the site out to search for an echo effect:http://www.rehanfx.org/
Any USB sound card that works in Windows will work with Windows Movie Maker.
There are lots of sound sites on the web...Google: sound effects.I personally like 'Sound America' myself. Lots of cool sound effects with hundreds of categories to choose from.
To learn all about windows Movie Maker can take months of study. The basics involve importing movie, sound and image files; then manipulating them in the timeline and using the right click menu to add transition effects
There are two tracks of audio for Windows Movie Maker. One track for the audio in the video you imported and another to add sound effects or a musical overlay. If you want to have both a musical overlay and sound effects, you just have to create your video with the music overlay or sound effects that you want first. Then, re-import the completed video with the sound effects or music overlay on it, and you'll you have fresh audio track to add whatever you want again. This is a "dirty" way to add as many sound tracks as you want using Moviemaker.
You can't take the sound off the Storyboard section in Windows Movie Maker. All that type of editing has to be done in the Time-line view.
You can't open WMM (windows movie maker) unless you have a sound card installed on you computer and speakers (internal/external) available.(I believe that is what is being asked?)
some videos will not work with windows movie maker because they are mp4s and need to be changed to a different files to be able to edit on WMM
You have to use windows movie maker and windows DVD maker. Both comes with WIndows.
There is no Narrate feature on Windows Live Movie Maker (which I presume you are using in Windows 7). You will have to use your Windows Sound Recorder to narrate or record voice on. Then import the file into Windows Live Movie Maker. In the 2.6 version of the program (the Vista version), there is a Narrate feature available. But, even that feature is rather persnickety. I always use sound recorder for voice. You can find your own Windows Sound Recorder under:> Start > All Programs > Accessories > Sound RecorderI had the same problem. Make sure you go into options and under webcam select the correct audio recording device.
You can't. You need to do it in audacity.
