I've found that orange oil is good for removing sticky residues, though you may want to patch test for colour fastness in a hidden area of the object first.
The best way to get the residue off is to use hot, soapy water mixed with vinegar. Soak a cloth or wash rag in the solution and apply to the plastic you wish to clean. Rub the cloth over the surface until satisfied.
