four screws, one in each corner of the lens
The 2006 Jeep Liberty rear tail light lens does not come off. The tail light is seal. You can access the tail light lightbulb through the back of the tail light, in the cargo compartment.
I need to replace my tail light assembly also..... Where did you find a repalcement lens Open lift gate and there will be a plastic revet by the side of the lens. Lift the center pin out first then the outer and should be able to remove the lens. You can reuse the plastic revet again.
Remove the lens, and the mounting screws are at the back of the box.
take the four screws of that hold on the lens cover and remove it. if you look inside there will be 3 torks screws. remove those. and that's it.
It is mounted to the drivers side taillight lens inside the trunk. It simply unplugs from the lens.
The fuel filler is located behind the left rear taillight. Right above the large red taillight lens you will see a vertical piece of chrome. Grasp that vertical piece of chrome and turn it counterclockwise. The taillight lens assembly will them drop down to reveal the gas cap.
The tail light is an assembly. The lens does not come off separately. The assembly is removed by lowering the tail gate, removing two screws, and pulling lamp rearward.
Open rear hatch, there are two screws in taillight lens, take them out, the lens will lift out, turn the socket and it will relese, replace bulb, (I would recommend using some dielectric grease on bulb socket while you have it out), replace in reverse order. AJ
On most Broncos, you just unscrew the taillight lens with a Philips head screw driver and there you go.
Lenses are not replaceable on the Malibu, you have to replace the entire taillight assembly
No, you can only buy the assembly. No one sells just the lens.
