There will be a new map pack Rezurrection released starting with the Xbox 360 on August 23 2011 and 30 days later for the PS3 and PC that will include the maps. Rezurrection will include the new zombie map Moon and the 4 WAW Zombie Maps Nacht der Untoten, Verrückt, Shi No Numa, & Der Riese that have been modified for Black Ops
You need the hardened or prestige edition to get them. Then you can go into the PS Store or the XBox store, and buy them for points. You will get all four, with all Black Ops weapons included.
The information above come from a Nintendo Wii player who can not get a hardened or prestige edition because it is not available for Nintendo. The people with special edition games did not have to buy the maps that's one reason why the games cost more originally and why the high price of any found on the internet. Games included a code like the activation code found with software that can not be used again even if the game is purchased used.
The question did get one thing right they are no longer Call of Duty World at War maps. Only Call of Duty Black Ops maps work on Call of Duty Black Ops. From what I have read in ads and other areas the Prestige and Hardened Edition maps were changed and modified from the World at War maps and added to the Call of Duty Black Ops Special Edition game discs for the Xbox 360 and PS3 games only. There are one time use codes for the hardened and prestige PS3 and Xbox 360 games

Prestige is the godfather version. The "Pimped-out" edition. It includes the game, collectibles, accessories, and usually a pretty cool toy. For Modern Warfare 2, Prestige edition came with a pair of real Night Vision Goggles. Black Ops came with an RC/XD remote control toy car.

Why do you think that the few remaining new Hardened edition games are selling for so much. If Activision just wanted to make some money they could have just released some more hardened edition games and they did not. They are Billion dollar sales company and do not care that they could sell 100,000 copies of the Hardened edition for $80 each. When they released the Call of Duty World at War greatest hits edition they did not include the 3 available map packs or even a discount coupon for them

You cannot, at least not at the moment. I don't doubt there will be a later release of those maps for everyone to purchase. For the moment, however, you can only get them with Hardened or Prestige versions of the game. Never had the release everyone though was coming and both First Strike and Escalation have only one zombie map. You can still find those hardened edition games for quite a lot more than the retail $80 they originally sold for

All the zombie maps from World at War can be bought and downloaded to Black Ops. There are a number of sites that claim this this is not true. In fact they criticize Activision since people who purchased the Map packs for the Call of Duty World at War can not use them for Call of Duty Black Ops. There is no information that the Hardened and Prestige edition games need to download the maps. From reading the advertisement for those games they appear to be part of the original game discs. I have seen used Hardened edition call of duty black ops video games for sale on Ebay that said the 4 zombie maps were not available with the game because the code had already been used
