How do you get the HM Surf in Pokmon?

In Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green, HM03 (Surf) can be found in the furthest house in Safari Zone(without Surf, that is). The Soul Badge is required to use HM03 outside of battle.

In Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal, HM03 can be found by going to Ecruteak City and going to a house of some Kimono girls. Once you beat the Kimono girls there in battle, talk to a man with a hat and he will give you HM03. A Fog Badgeis required to use HM03 outside of battle.

In Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green, HM03 can be found the same way as the way you get HM03 in Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow. And like in the Generation I games, the Soul Badge is required to use HM03 outside of battle.

In Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, Surf can be found by going to Petalburg City and by beating the gym leader, Norman. Then Wally's mom will give you HM03.

In Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, HM03 can be found by defeating Galactic Boss Cyrus in the shrine in Celestic Town. Cynthia's grandmother will then award you with HM03. A Fen Badge (Platinum) or Relic Badge (Diamond and Pearl) is required to use HM03 outside of battle.

In Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver, HM03 can be found by entering the Ecruteak dance show. There will be a Rocket gruntwho will battle you. Once you've defeated the grunt, a man with a Psyduck will give you HM03. Like in the Generation II games, the Fog Badge is required to use HM03 outside of battle.

In Pokemon Black and White, HM03 can be obtained after Cherenis defeated in Twist Mountain. A guy named Alder will give it to you. The Jet Badge is required to use HM03 outside of battle.
