how to get back cover back onthe watch
=When You open the back of the watch, there is a sticker covering the battery that reads: AFTER BATTERY INSERTION, SHORT PADS TO RESET. = Right next to the battery hold down screw, there is a round flat pad, short the +side of the battery (the hold down battery screw is +battery power) to the flat pad. The watch can now be programmed for time, date , etc. It worked on mine!

Battery number SW927SW or equivalent 399 / 395.
To put the battery lid back onto a bulova watch, simply place the lid into the crease above the newly replaced battery. From there, screw the lid securely down onto the watch.
You just need to remove the back cover, it does require using a paper clip to release the back and replace it with a watch battery. You can get a watch battery at any pharmacy.
To replace the battery in a Casio 1827 watch, place a soft cloth under the face of the watch to prevent scratches. Locate the small dent on the back of the watch and slide the blade of the knife under the back so that it pops off. Remove the old battery, replacing it with a new one and returning it to the same position. Replace the back of the watch.
Try turning the watch over and carefully reading the back of the case. Many watch brands actually list the battery number on the back of the case. For instance, the numbers 377 or 2010 are standard watch battery designations. Since the size and shape of the dial does not determine the battery used, for best results take the watch to a local jeweler to have the battery replaced.
Open the back of the watch, the battery is stamped with a number.
Sometimes you can't do it yourself. It takes a special tool that only a jeweler has. Turn over the back and if it has little notches that takes a special tool. If it is flat you maybe able to pry it off. There should be a little indentation along the edge. Take a small jewelry screwdriver and pry the back off on that indention. If that doesn't come off right away I would take it to a jeweler before you ruin the watch. Some watches aren't worth getting a battery. Just get a new watch.
If you cannot get the back of your watch back on, to prevent any destruction or further damage, you should take the watch to a professional. anonymous@oola.com
