use a small screwdriver.
Fossil watches are harder than most to replace the battery on as the battery compartment is sealed and pressurized. In order to change the battery one must remove the back plate from the watch then remove the nylon cover beneath it. Press the spring that holds the battery in place to release it.
To change the battery in an Arkitekt Fossil watch, you will need to open the caseback using a case knife or a small screwdriver. Once the caseback is open, carefully remove the old battery and replace it with a new one. Make sure to use a battery that is the correct size and type for your specific watch model. Finally, securely close the caseback to complete the battery replacement process. If you're unsure or uncomfortable doing this yourself, it's best to take your watch to a professional jeweler or watchmaker for assistance.
The fossil blue watch series has a replaceable battery should the battery die. The back is threaded to allow access to the battery. The new battery would be installed.
I have a Fossil Blue BQ-8774. To remove the watch back cover, I unscrewed the entire cover. There are notches in the back cover, and I used a small screwdriver in one of the notches and tapped it repeatedly, opening the back cover in a counter-clockwise direction. The battery inside was a 373, also known as SR916SW.
A person can take a Fossil watch band for resizing to a jeweler. The watch can also be sent back to Fossil.
If you cannot get the back of your watch back on, to prevent any destruction or further damage, you should take the watch to a professional. anonymous@oola.com
the edge of a razor blade, but impossible to snap back on with out their tool.
If the watch has a snap on the back, one can simply use a sharp knife to twist off the back. If the watch has a screw back, a special wrench must be used.
The back pops off on some watches. You can go to a watch store and they can put a new battery in it for you. Some others don't need a battery though. On these types when you move your wrist, the time is updated.
Pop off the back of the pocket watch. I use a sewing pin to achieve this. You will see a circular plastic part with a different shape in the middle that is on top of the battery and keeps the watch face in place. Mine is colored white. Pop that off from the bottom. From there press up underneath the battery. There should be a little groove underneath where the battery is. After that inspect the battery that was already in there. For example: Mine was a V377+ Varta Germany. I bought a Energizer V377 and put it in. It works like a charm. Put the plastic part back on top of the battery. Then pull up on the top of the pocket watch, moving the spinning part of the watch. Carefully put the back of the watch back on, as jiggling it a little will change the time you've so specifically changed. After the back is on, then push down on the top of the pocket watch. This will start the second counter again. Tada. You have changed the battery of a ciprini pocket watch.
It probably unscrews. Take it to a jeweler and purchase your battery from them. Most will install for no additional fee.
remove the back cover of the watch the battery is located there purchase the correct size battery insert replace back cover (if you do not have a jeweler's tool for removing the back cover have found that the blade of a pocket knife can be used to pry it loose just need to be careful not to scratch the finish
