Not for sure, but my sister ended up putting one of those thermal coffee mugs in our microwave, which smelt terrible by the way. So my mom put lemon slices in water and put them in the mirowave for a couple minutes. After a few times it went away so it's worth a try, right?

∙ 14y agoFill a small bowl with a 50-50 mixture of water and white vinegar, then set it in the oven and turn the oven on high for 5 minutes. When the mixture boils, it will remove stubborn smells inside the vents and loosen food particles on the oven walls. You can also put a sliced lemon in a dish of water.

∙ 12y agoTake about a cup and fill it about half way with water then add a few drops of lemon and microwave on high for about 2-3mins that should take away the smell. Add more lemon depending on how bad it smells
