You get the camera along with all of the other ghost-hunting equipment, which is secretly provided by the woman at the bakery.

After you fall asleep at the inn, you awaken to the Inn owners trying to scare you. Take the violin and play it near the old house, and you will see a figure in the window. Use the binoculars from the ghost hunter that the magistrate takes away. Climb up to the hose and enter through the basement, and climb up to the second floor, where you can use the telescope to look out on the bay.

When you meet Fiona, she will send you to the Gingerbread House bakery, where you get the equipment.
