It just snaps in. remove gently. You may need a special tool that auto body shops use.
The 1994 Jeep Wrangler dash pad is secured with eight retaining clips. Pry outward on each retaining clip and the dash pad will come off.

There is not dash "pad". It is a one piece instrument panel.

Either side ontop of dash pad and approx. head level on B pillers (reg cab) or C pillars (ext cab)
take off the wheel and any thng in between you and the pad, open the box for the new pad, read directions.
Hold the Dash Button, and then press Left or Right on D-pad. When you are spinning in your shell, release D-pad. To stop Shell Dashing, release the Dash Button.
Someone at one point and time may of had the steering wheel off and never re-connected the wires, I think that you have to remove the pad in the middle of the wheel to access the wires.
In order to remove the speakers, you must remove the "Dash Pad". It's held in place with clips and a couple screws. Start by pushing up in the center of the dash pad. Then remove the screws.
