The only place to trade anything is in Nabooti, and you give the gold to the trader who deals only in "cash" (gold must be the exception). You get a digital camera for the Safari.
You can't find a camera : you have to purchase one from the trader at Nabooti. At the Kaya Forests, there is a gold nugget in a palm tree (next to the second hut). Trade it at Nabooti for a digital camera to use on the Safari.
Neither one is available. The trader at Nabooti will also accept GOLD. There is a large nugget in a palm tree at the Kaya Forests (above the second hut). You can use it to buy a camera for the Safari.
You get the camera from the trader at Nabooti. To trade for it, you will need the gold nugget (from the palm tree above the second hut at the Kaya Forests). The camera is used to take pictures of the animals at the Safari. (see related question)
