How do you get the heroic map pack on Halo 3?

Press the circle in the middle of your controller. Press the left or right button 1-2 times and go down until you find the marketplace option. Go there and search for the game: Halo 3. Press on the option: game ad-ons and you will find it there. Then you can download it. By the way, ITS FREE!
