Play lots of puzzles.

Visit your monster daily and keep your monster's Health and Happiness levels above 900.

Visit lots of other monsters and rate their rooms.

Leave interesting and friendly messages on Pinboards.

Add Friends.

Participate in the Daily Growl posts.

Basically, you do things which will get the Moshi Monsters staff to notice you.

Your MonStar level will also increase when you do these activities and that will help you get chosen for MonStar of the Week. You will receive a notification in your "Moshi Monsters" account if you are chosen for MonStar of the Week.
