Painting your nails at home is actually pretty simple, as long as you buy quality nail polish. Some nail polish brands that I always use are Sally Hansen, Wet n' Wild, and L'Oreal. When you paint your nails, make sure that you have enough room because this will make it easier and cause less irritation while painting your nails. In order to have smooth, pretty nails, start with a clear base coat. Then, apply the nail polish color you are using. Finally, put on a clear top coat in order to preserve the color and keep the nail polish on you nails for longer. If you want to get fancy and add designs to your nails, Sally Hansen also makes nail polish pens which are great for adding polka dots, flowers, and other patterns to your nails.

To prevent or fix hanging nails in your home, you can use a hammer to gently tap the nail back into place or remove it completely and replace it with a new one. To prevent hanging nails in the future, make sure to use the correct size and type of nail for the job, and avoid hammering nails too forcefully.
