Assuming the app has been deleted and not just had its icon removed from the Dock (in which case it can still be found in the Applications folder) the iPhoto application can be installed from the original software discs that came with the iMac. Other photo applications will need to be downloaded from the developers website or the Mac's App Store if they are no longer available on the iMacs hard disc or a backup disc.
