The radio code is shown in a card inside a black case that holds the owner's manual. If it is not there, you should contact your nearest Acura dealer for the radio code.
different for every rsx you should have a card with it on there
Yes the radio has to be on. The radio code can be for on a white sticker on the glovebox. open the box and look on the left hand side (outside) for your code.
You have to call the acura dealer and give them your vin number and they will give u the code every car has a diffrent code
I had the same problem when my battery died. I took it to the dealership fearing that it may cost money to find the code in their database. To my surprise, the code for my RSX was stickered to the outside of the glove compartment box. Siiting in the drivers seat, open the glove compartment, and look on the outside of the "inner" compartment. should be a white factory sticker
take off the power wire from the battery.
If you have lost the radio code, there are two places to check for it. Open the glove box and on left hand side you will see two white stickers. One should be the 5-digit radio code. Someone, I am guessing in the Service Department of my local dealership actually wrote my radio code on the right strut mount in permanent marker.

I have a 2004 Acura rsx type s check engine light is on has code po172 how do I fix it n what r the possible causes
A radio code is a code to activate your radio.
If your radio is locked and needs to be unlocked, it would require a security code versus a radio code.
whats number do i put in to unlock radio is it security code or radio code to unlock radio?
Are you talking about the clock on the radio? If that is what you are talking about then turn the radio off and you will see that under the FM button it says "clock" hold that button in and use the "4" button for the hour change and the "5" button for the minute change. Hope this helps. and if it is from disconnecting the battery, you will need to put in the securety code, you can find that in the owner manual, and if not, you can call an acura dealer and give them the vin and serial number of the radio and they can get the code to you
