The first half of the globe, the Spherical Atlas, is found at the bottom of Emergence Cave, the first cavern you enter. It is located in the Valley of Repose and allows you to travel to the Awakening Wood.
The second half of the globe, the Geographic Projection, is located in the Awakening Wood, across a pond from where you start. This half allows you to travel to the Perplexing Pool.

The second globe part is found in the Awakening Wood. It is near the Hole of Beasts and has a bridge (the kind that the Pikmin build) nearby.
