To access the second half of the globe in Pikmin 2, you need to defeat the final boss, the Emperor Bulblax, located in the Wistful Wild area. As of July 8, 2011, there is just about nothing known regarding Pikmin 3, other than the fact that it is in development.

Many players have put forward the notion that a two player story mode would be very fun, and Nintendo has often listened to fans. While the story mode will most likely involve only one player, a minor two player role could be introduced (similar to that in Mario Galaxy 2).

The Submerged Castle is the cavern in the northeast area of the Perplexing Pool. The area around it is submerged in water (hence the name) so only blue Pikmin can be brought into it.

The blue pikmin are in the Awakening Woods but first you have to go to the Perplexing Pool, beat the Fiery Bulblax and get the yellow pikmin.Now return to the the Awakening Woods and at that area where you had a black gate, and fought your first Cloaking Burrownet, and Creeping Crissanthamum throw your yellows away from the Cloaking Burronet on that ledge get Olimar or Louie/Mr.President, get your yellows beat the Burrownet and tear down that electric gate(reccomended that you have 30 yellows for this).Now leave your yellows their after that gate is torn down and go to the other side and their you have it tied for best in Pikmin and tied for third best in this game blue pikmin.

The first half of the globe, the Spherical Atlas, is found at the bottom of Emergence Cave, the first cavern you enter. It is located in the Valley of Repose and allows you to travel to the Awakening Wood.

The second half of the globe, the Geographic Projection, is located in the Awakening Wood, across a pond from where you start. This half allows you to travel to the Perplexing Pool.

Note: Both of these take the equivalent of 101 Pikmin to carry. It is not possible to have more than 100 Pikmin in the field at once, so you will need at least one purple Pikmin to carry them, because purple Pikmin count as 10 Pikmin when carrying objects.

On the first four sublevels, if you stay there for five miutes or longer, it will appear; a cutscene heralds the first time it arrives. You are unable to defeat or damage it until you reach the final floor, where you'll find Violet Candypop Buds; Purple Pikmin can force the Waterwraith into solidity, making it possible for any Pikmin to damage it.

In the second region that you land in (Awakening Wood), you have to get the white Pikmin from the White Flower Garden. Once you get out of the cave, you must go to where the previous cave (Hole of Beasts) was. If you go in the opposite direction, there will be a gate with two poison gas vents guarding it. Therefore, you must use your white Pikmin to break down the gate. On the other side, there is a Creeping Chrysanthenum. After you kill it, you will find the other half of the globe from Emergence Cave. It takes the equivalent of 101 Pikmin to carry it, so you will need at least one purple Pikmin. A recommendation is having Super Spicy Sprays ready, since the globe takes a long time to carry. You will also want to build the bridge, which will make the process of carrying the globe much faster. Once the globe is taken in by the Ship, it will say that a new area has been discovered. After the day ends, on the world map, you should see a new area be charted on the map. That is the Perplexing Pool.

The President is the president of Hocotate Freight, and Captain Olimar's and Louie's boss. The President comes along with Olimar after leaving Louie on a The Distant Planet, allowing the President to actually become a playable character.

Ivory Candypop Buds (the white flowers that give you white Pikmin) can be found in underground areas. Going into the same cave that had the Candypop Buds will cause the flowers to reappear. The White Flower Garden has several Ivory Candypop Buds, but they only appear if you have a total of 20 or fewer white Pikmin.

Violet Candypop Buds (the purple flowers that give you purple Pikmin) are also found in underground areas and can be replenished by waiting. The best areas for finding them are the Subterranean Complex and the Hole of Beasts.

The Crimson, Golden, Lapis Lazuli, and Queen Candypop Buds can be found and replenished similarly.

The question's just a little vague, but here goes. Well, first off, the only type of Pikmin that can actually travel through water safely is the blue Pikmin. If you're trying to get other types of Pikmin across, there's a number of things to do. First off, see if you can't find a bridge to roll out. Or, and this is a bit risky, if the body of water isn't incredibly large, you can throw some Pikmin in, then try to use the whistle to call them to the other side. This is, however, quite dangerous, and I wouldn't recommend doing it without first knowing that it's possible.

The final boss in Pikmin 2 has four different weapons, each of which poses a different danger to Pikmin. You must knock off every weapon to kill the Titan Dweevil. One weapon is poisonous, one is electric, one is fiery, and one is watery. Captains will be stunned by all attacks but will not take damage as long as you have Anti-Electrifier and the Scorch Guard. Spicy Sprays are recommended but Bitter Sprays are not. Although, at the end of the battle, if you use a bitter spray right before he dies, you get 8 potions in a small ring.

Method 1: Using all types for the corresponding pikmin.

As the electric weapon can kill Pikmin instantly, it is best to start by knocking that off.

It is also best if you leave all other Pikmin types behind in a safe place except for the single type of Pikmin that will knock off the corresponding part on the boss. This way, no other Pikmin will be accidentally hurled at the wrong part, and will be relatively easy to control the small amount of the certain type of Pikmin you have with you to keep them from being attacked by a different part of the boss. Be careful, however: the water weapon the boss has can attack Pikmin that are outside of its pit.

Method 2: All yellows

In my opinion, this is the best method. Yellow pikmin can be thrown higher than other colors and, more importantly, are immuned to the Electric Attack. It is best to leave the other Pikmin by the geyser since you will not have to switch out. It does not make a huge difference which order you take them out in as long as you take out the shock therapist last.

Monster pump (Water Attack)

Comity bomb (Poison Attack)

Flare Cannon (Fire Attack)

Shock Therapist (Electric Attack)

Once you defeat the final boss, you will get Louie back. The payout is 4010 pokos. Also, if you come back, you will not have to knock off the weapons.

Although they are only together as co-workers, they are considered friends. Olimar does seem to become anoyed with Louie sometimes, though.

The original Pikmin involves you hunting for 30 pieces of your ship within a limit of 30 days, with each day being 11 minutes real time. Thus, you have a time limit which makes the game more stressful than usual. If you like a challenge by getting items before time is up, then this game is for you. However, because you only have 30 days, the game will not last that long.

Pikmin 2, however, involves you searching for treasure (and even dead bodies of creatures you defeat) in order to pay back the 10,000 Pokos that led the company of Hocotate Freight into debt. Once your debt is paid, you can gather the remaining treasures, and after that you can still raise Pikmin. You have unlimited days to complete all of the tasks, which means some days can be spent just getting more Pikmin while others may involve completing two caves. Not only is there a challenge mode, but there is also a two-player mode to go along with the adventure mode. Most people select Pikmin 2 as the clearly better game, simply because it adds a two-player mode, a challenge mode, and a very intense and thorough story mode that you can accomplish at your own leisure.

Games are designed to work on hardware from specific regions.

At that point, you basically have completed the game. There may be some bosses or other creatures that you have not faced yet, however, and you can still complete and perfect the Challenge mode levels.if you haven't gotten every piklopedia animal try doing that.otherwise harvest a lot of pikmin and get a lot of sprays

To get to the fourth and final area, the Wistful Wild, you will need to pay off Hocotate Freight's 10,000 Poko debt. Olimar will then leave the planet without Louie, the President will join Olimar, and the Wistful Wild will be unlocked.

You bring the Pikmin right up next white walls, and they will begin beating it down.

Black walls are the same as white walls, but they take longer to destroy.

Yellow Pikmin need to carry bomb rocks to destroy stone walls.

Bulbmin are Bulborbs that have been infected by a parasitic species of Pikmin. They are resistant to fire, water, electricity, and poison. They can be found in the Frontier Cavern, Submerged Castle, and Hole of Heroes, but there is absolutely no way for them to exit these caves.

There is no specific time. The goal of the game is to collect treasure to clear the debt owed by Hocotate Freight. Advanced players may complete the game in 10 days or fewer, while other less experienced players may need 50 days (in-game days, not 24 hour days) to complete the game. It all depends on what strategy is used.
