THIS ANSWER IS FOR SIMS 2 PC (it may not work for other editions)
the sim has to have an accessable bed for this action, make sure nothing is blocking it in any way ( except for a bed side table). click on the bed and select RELAX. your sim has to be a child or older, toddlers andd babies cannot relax! hope this helped! xx

∙ 11y ago2. Make sure your Sims' relationship status is high enough for them to perform the Try for Baby interaction.

4. After doing steps 1-3, tell both Sims to relax on the bed (if they keep getting up before they are both relaxing, temporarily disable Sim autonomy in you options panel).
5. Tell them to Try for Baby.
You may experience problems if the two Sims are of the same gender, one or both of them are teens, the female is an elder, you already have 8 Sims in your household, or their signs are incompatible.

first off, sometimes sims don't relax for very long, so move both of your sims into the room with the bed.
Make your first sim relax, swich sims and make it relax on the other side of the bed... and obviously, make them do the dirty ;)

∙ 10y agoNot sure if you mean give birth or conceive a baby.
To conceive a baby: direct a male and female Sim to relax on the bed. From there select one Sim and then click on their partner (who should be relaxing). Various options will appear including one that says 'Try For Baby'. Select this and wait. If you hear chimes following their Woohoo, congrats! You Sim is now pregnant. Otherwise have them keep trying for baby (buying the Fertility Treatment Lifetime Reward will increase your chances of conception).
To give birth: as far as I know this is impossible unless there is a mod or pose pack out there that would allow it. Babies can only be born at the hospital or at home, standing up.
