Well basically you have to solve the first layer of the cube. Because if you do that all of the corners and middle pieces are in the right place and are aligned with the centre pieces. And that way, you will get the T but the rest of the cube will be unsolved.

The best way to answer this is go on YouTube and type in how to solve a rubiks cube. click the first one. there is a couple parts but its worth it. You'll learn how to solve it in no time!
