what I've read and I've tried this believe me this works... collect saliva in a bucket and leave it in the sun for a day, brush it over your door to not only to remove residue of stickers but to repel stickers in the future. I know It's wierd but it works.
Or, you can try WD-40 or "Goof Off"-this works better.
More than likely the vehicle was in an accident and the driver's door was replaced. The new door would not have that sticker.

If you just want to paint the car the same color or adding a new bumper and want to match the paint, look in your door jam, there is a sticker there with the paint code.

Adding a window to an exterior door is problematic. Cutting a section out of the door causes structural and plumb issues. It is better to purchase a new door with the desired window.
