It really all depends on what color pigment your natural hair has, what color was already used and what exact color you are trying to achieve. You can try toning it down with a deeper blonde, roughly a shade darker or lighten it up a shade lighter hoping to get that orangy color out. I recently had mine done and the same thing happened to me, I had my stylist put color over the orange with a level 8-more natural looking blonde and it came out pretty nice. You need to make sure your specific when you describe what color you want because the stylist may think differently Hope this helps, good luck!
