How do you wall bounce in super Mario 64 ds?

Just do these following steps:

Be MARIO

First go to the place where the Snowman stands (or at least his head). Go past the bridge with the two snowmen jumping, and jump down to the pink bomb. He will prepare the cannon for you... Or you can go in the cabin that you see when you first jump in the panting and slide down the slide thats in side.

Jump into the cannon (the one near Mother penguin). Aim for a tree under the cliff (shoot a little above) When you're landed, follow the road. When you get to the big hole, make a LONG-JUMP, Running straight to it, crouch (press R-button) and then jump.

Get Past the health heart, and jump against the wall. To make the wall-kick, simply, jump against the wall, and jump again when you hit it. Do this twice (second might be hard) and then in front of you, you should see the star...

It's simple, you run up to the wall with the "X" button, (If you have it set to that option) Press the "B" button, and you will somewhat cling to the wall, and descend slowly, then press "B" again before descending to the ground to wall jump. Hope this helped.

Direct Mario towards the wall, jump at it (so as to literally hit it) and press the jump button when he flinches/slides against the wall. Make sure to move Mario in the opposite direction from the wall for maximum effect (You can also refer to a manual for reference).

You first have to do a backflip towards the wall (R-A) Once you hit the wall, press A and you will do a wall jump!
