How do you get through the rock tunnel in Pokemon firered?

Well HM flash will help you immensly, you can pick tht up after going through digletts cave in vermilion city, and talking to the Aide in a building (Cut required) , once you have flash you can navigate around easier, and rock tunnel has one path with dead ends coming off, so you can't ge lost, but in case your still struggling, heres a link to a walkthrough

flash helps its dark but every time you get in a battle you know your on the right trail and if u get lost and u see someone and they wont fight then your going the wrong way P.S. There is a guy who teaches rock slide in there
This is the order of what you need to do:

- Get the ss anne ticket off bill (north of cerulean)

- Go onto the ss anne in vermilion to get cut hm

- Go through Diglets cave

- (You MUST have caught at least 10 types of pokemon.)

- Chop the tree

- Go into the 'area transfer' type building, speak to Prof. Oak's Aide to get the Flash HM

Use the HM on an oddish or something, and you'll be able to see.

get a lot of repels and escape ropes if you have flash use it and if you don't have it don't worry use repel and keep using it every time it wears off. and keep looking for ladders that lead down and eventually you will find your way out.

You don't have to go through rock tunnel. Fly to rock tunnel and go north where the grass is. There should be water, surf there and go down and you will eventually get to the power plant.

just get the flash from Dr oak's aid and use it on an electric Pokemon when you enter the cave use the flash in Pokemon and have fun
