If you're coming from the US, the best way to do it is to fly to Beijing, spend a night at the
Holiday Inn Lido near the airport ... it's conveniently located, and has the best breakfast buffet
in the world (!!). Get a good nights' sleep, get your clock somewhat readjusted, and then fly from
Beijing to Ulan Bataar.

(At the international airport at Ulan Bataar, I'll accept a tiny modicum of your admiration and
gratitude for my having skillfully repaired the microwave link between the mountaintop air-route
surveillance radar site and the airport control tower, some years ago, back in the day.)
