You might have disabled the "load images" option. Go to Menu > Settings and make sure "load images" is On

Upon booting up or rebooting a computer, the system looks for configuration files which tells the computer how to load and what to load. The Windows registry in the System Ini files contain a list of of all the user's settings/preferences and a list of all the program it will need to load on start up. These files can be modified to change settings, what programs to load on start up and many other settings and preference.

The best way to do that, just restart your laptop and go in BIOS settings. One of the menues is reset to factory settings, or something like load dafault settings.

You'll loose your BIOS settings and the computer won't be able to recognize some of the settings. If the battery goes dead, replace the battery, enter the BIOS settings and load the default, then do whatever is necessary under YOUR BIOS to recognize your hardware, then save the settings.

The difference between a front load washer and regular washer is that a front load washer has a door in front were clothes are loaded and that is also where washer settings are located. The regular washer is usually a top load where clothes are loaded on top of the washer.
