yes. i had a newborn, and when i came back she turned 9 years old. after you do the spire, newborns after that age much more quickly.

It is the kingdom that existed in the time of the Archons, before the Spire was activated by the last archon, which wiped it out. The music box is an Old Kingdom weapon, created specifically to disrupt or destroy the Spire. The kingdom existed, I think, at least 1,000 years before even fable 1, which is at least 500 years before fable 2.
Does your kid grown up in Fable 2?
Yes. If you go to the Spire and come back, he will be nine years old. Or after the Spire, if you wait a week, he will grow up. But the max age is nine years of age. :)
