After adding a Magic Trackpad to your iMac you need to run Software Update (from the Apple menu - top left corner) which will add a Trackpad section to your System Preferences.
Ensure that Bluetooth is On in the Bluetooth section of System Preferences. In the Mouse section of System Preferences click on the Set Up Bluetooth mouse button in the bottom right corner. If the mouse is switched on (small switch underneath - green light should be on) the iMac should discover the mouse.
Open System Preferences. Now click Flash Player and the Camera & Mic tab.
Open System Preferences. Click the displays icon. Click the color tab and then click calibrate.
On the iMac wireless keyboard it is the second key from the left, on the very top of the keyboard. You can also open System Preferences and then click Display. There on the Display tab you will see a brightness control slider.
On an iMac you can go to the System Preferences under the Apple Menu, then go to NETWORK. Choose which device connects you to the internet, wether it be wireless or wired, then click ADVANCED. From there your 'DNS' tab is clickable and will give you the specified information.
Open System Preferences. Now click Display. Click the display tab and check "Best for built in display".
It is within each application or program. Open the program and then click the name of the program on the top left. A drop down window will appear. Scroll down and click Properties. There is also the System Preferences which is located in the dock.
Change the screen resolution to a higher level. Click System Preferences in the Dock and then Display.
There is no card reader on the iMac. If your cell phone has Bluetooth you can download the photos via Bluetooth. Make sure the Bluetooth is turned on your iMac. To do this open system preferences then click Bluetooth. Make sure it is turned on and discoverable. Also make sure your Bluetooth is turned on your cell phone. You can now send the photos from your cell phone to your iMac via Bluetooth.
System Preferences, Accounts, check the "Allow user to administer this computer" box.You may have to unlock the settings with your login password in order to make changes.
Bluetooth is included with Mac OS X. If it is not available it can be activated from the Bluetooth options in the Internet & Wireless section of System Preferences.
