From Notre Dame to the Arc: the easiest way to go is metro line 1. First go to either "hotel de ville" or "Chatelet" metro stations on the right bank of the Seine (five minutes by foot from Notre-Dame). Follow directions towards "La Défense", step down at Charles-de-Gaulle-étoile.
