Hi I am trying to find the thermostat on my Chevy ventur it is a 1998
you have got to take the Pentium off and then you can change the back spark plugs when you put the Pentium back on you need to tourqe the bolts to 16 inch pounds.
there are 3 in the front and 3 in the back if its a 6cyl.
I recently asked the same question on a similar sight. To replace the back spark plugs you have to reach them from under the vehicle. You will be working blind the entire time, so plan on several hours to complete the project.
The engine can be moved forward slightly.
Loosen the 2 dog bones on the front of the engine and pull the motor forward to get to the back plugs.
I found the best way, is to take the 3 bolts out that hold coil plate on, then you will have a little more room. it is tight but you can get to the back plugs OK!
When the engine is not firing on all cyclinders or has bad spark or lean or rich fuel it will cause the light to flash. Mine did this and I had a loss of power. I replaced the spark plugs and wires. It stopped the light and I got my power back as well as got more mpg.
On the drivers side between the back 2 spark plugs and just a little lower than the plugs
If the heads are put on right then it will be on the driver's side head between the 1st and 2ed spark plugs. It may be on the other head too between the back 2 spark plugs.
easy.........take the old spark plugs out and put the new spark plugs back
there are 3 in the front and 3 in the back of the motor near the fire wall
you can get to some from the front and the ones in the back you can get to through the wheel wells
